My Portfolio.

I am a neurodiverse, queer, non-binary, and self-taught artist raised in Humboldt Park and Cicero. My family is from Central America, El Salvador and I derive a lot of my passion and inspiration from my culture, history, and heritage.

I have had my work showcased in Woman Made Gallery, Is there a Mother in the House? as well as selected for the front cover of the zine, St. Sucia, Issue: Soy. My work is dedicated to centering and elevating community voices, spreading messages of radical love, hope, and change as well as doing semi-abstract work.

For my art, I like to repurpose as much as I can. I will reuse signs and materials thrown away. I will use gently used fabric to make banners and more If I do use canvas, I prefer using black canvas and I enjoy bringing to life the light and lines of acrylic/paint markers. For digital work, most of my work is drawn first and then uploaded to my sketchbook desktop app. For portraits, I like to draw with pencils, pens, and go over with markers and acrylic paint. I enjoy mixing different fabrics, and textures on canvass.
